A very well-written 2-10-2 poem about the bird song that stopped early mornings as winter approaching. Looking forward to hear the early morning chirps as Spring gets closer. The first birds start chirping at 4Am here in summer time.

You have made excellent use of all of your syllables in this lovely piece about how certain elements of spring are especially missed when the cold months come. The artwork is beautiful.

Such a delightful poetic reminder here in this 2-10-2 format of the song of birds -quieter now during Nature's dormant season - but what a joy to look forward to as winter nears its end

Oh, how we miss them, don't we?! I've got but a few at the feeders these days and most are not the 'big singers' from the Spring/Summer!! ;) :) Good syllable count -- thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;)
