I enjoyed reading your winter poem. It flows well with alliteration of d letters and sounds in your second sentence. I like the picture you painted with your words. Your poem tells me that you enjoy winter and nature. Best wishes!

Thanks for the encouraging review angel. Yes, I do love winter and I anticipate getting some of that quality snow soon. It seems I just hung up my snow shoes a week ago, sigh, cheers

Just the title draws the reader in. This beautiful title summons an animated image. Then the use of alliteration becomes onomatopoetic effecting the sound of the wind. I actually wrote a poem with the same image of diamonds. It was something about how rich we will be if we can gather all of these diamonds. Of course, they would melt and we'd find our greed got us nowhere. Yours is much more glorious. I am voting for this one.

Thanks for the wonderful review and vote. I love those snowy, sunny days making the forest sparkle magically. I am looking forward to some quality snow very soon and leaving my snowshoe tracks everywhere. Cheers.

Beautifully said with the picture showing the same. I enjoyed your poem. I can imagine the wind carrying the snow draping and placing the diamond crystals onto the pine cone. Best to you.

Thanks for the review. I am waiting patiently for that first big snow storm. I live in the forest and love to meander in the snow on my snowshoes. Cheers.

This is a marvelous 5-7-5 winter poem. I just love the alliteration ("draping dazzling diamonds") which makes one, not just visualize, but feel the words, the bright and chilly words that introduce the best of winter times -- snow!

I love that sparkling of new snow on the boughs. Seems like I just put up my snowshoes only a week ago haha. Thanks for the review, cheers.

I think this is a good entry for the 5-7-5 Winter writing prompt.
Your verse tells of winter blizzards.
Well done and good luck to you with the contest.

Thanks for the review Sharon. I love to meander around on my snow shoes after a big storm, though it seems only a week ago I put away my gear, sigh. Cheers.
