HAHAHAHAHAH!! This is hilarious. I can totally picture this dog having these thoughts! And the ending? SO PERFECT!! (I was going to write "so cute" but didn't want to be a plagiarist.) This was delightful.

Such a cute story. This dog wants you all to himself. One small error, after
Of course there should be a comma. Otherwise, the story is perfect and
funny.

You're welcome.

Most dogs are no amused about a new dog in the house. But beagles are wonderful dogs and it will take some time. This little story is wonderfully written. and I love the picture. Best of luck with your writing!
Have a great day, and God bless.

Yeah, I love this. I think that these are pretty close to the exact words every animal has when they have been the one and only. "What the heck?". Priceless! This is beautiful writing that made me smile. Thanks for sharing this well written offering. Well done!

Hello. I have been away for a while and have not read anything else of yours yet..
This was a nice way for me to start off. I love dogs and I love hearing someone write in their voice. I found no mistakes in the grammar.
I did like the voice you gave the old guy!

I am just returning after a 2 year hiatus also. Thank you for taking the time to read and review my story.

I can relate to this so well, we bought Shiz Tsu for our poodle's 2nd birthday present. Didn't go down too well at first. 12 years later they love one another. Nice job.

I'm sure they will warm up to each other soon. I'm noticing little differences every day. Thank you for your personal review.

We had a rescue cat who was very timid. We thought he might have been abused. Then friends had a baby and their cat got to be too much trouble so we adopted him. Even though he had only three legs, he took over as the dominant cat and would intimidate the other. However, There was a soft bench I had put in the bay window for cat #1, and somehow, cat #2 respected that it was cat#1's "safe space." Hope things workout with your dogs.

Things are slowly getting better. Jigs actually laid down next to Pip this morning. Lol. Thank you for your review

This is a nice story from a different perspective, that of the truly "interested one", who predictably is not best pleased. It makes me remember our cat's reaction when we introduced a dog (full-grown, from the shelter) into the family structure.

Thank you so much for your personal review. I've never been brave enough to have both cats and dogs at the same time

Well of course, Jiggies is a bit miffed, GW. His letter is great. He expresses his POV perfectly. The art choice is a great one--sad eyes speak volumes. Hopefully, he will come round soon. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully with Love, Jan
