Ha, what a most unique entry into this PIX this challenge. I like very much the ingredients all working together despite the fact some are tart or sweet and some are fruits and other roots.
Excellent rhythm and rhyme and great social insight too.

This was indeed well done. You definitely covered the flaws of Congress as well as providing the tastes and uniqueness of the pie without missing a beat. Nice rhyme pattern. Sorry but the picture and your words had me craving pie, yikes.

Definitely NOT into politics, Angel, but from what I glimpse these days, I'm pretty sure neither side is willing to try up there.... best to just focus on pies and being thankful for what we have here at home! :) :) LOL! ;) This is such a wonderful offering, though -- would be a great 'incentivizer' hint for maybe some more local groups that seem to be having difficulty working toward a common goal! ;) :) Thanx for sharing your 'timely' interpretation! ;) Yvette

Comparing the various pie ingredients with politicians of diverse persuasions is very effective. It's a shame they can't sometimes integrate their ideas for the sake of their countries instead of getting so 'crusty' about it all.
