I love everything about this Diana. The rhyme, the flow, the beautiful message conveyed in it. Your beautiful and descriptive wording stands alone. The accompanying artwork is just an added bonus for us. I enjoyed reading this well written offering. Great job and well done! Keep writing!

Oh, this one must have a 6. What a beautiful, skillfully-written, touching
poem. It smoothly flows from one heartwarming scene to another,
saving the best for last. :-)

What a great poem. So filled with warmth. The artwork is great. Your rhyming is excellent. In the end, it explains how Jesus fits into all of this.

A well written poem. I love the Christmas time stories. I love Jesus although I don't celebrate the worldly Christmas. I respect everyone. God created us all. Have happy holidays. Peace to you.

Thank you! I actually believe that our Lord was born end of Sept beg October around Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah. I follow more closely to biblical accuracy, not mainstream Christianity as it is. I also call him Yeshua because that is really his name. I would have used that in this poem, but not sure many would relate :). Thank you for stopping to read!! :) xoxo

This poem is an excellent contest entry. The rhyme scheme works well throughout and the picture as well as the background color work together to create the Christmas atmosphere.

Hi Diana,
Totally love this as it is both nostalgic and spiritual in a most revered
and treasured tone and message! Honors the tradition and true
meaning of Christmas, while so delightfully and encouragingly
reminding us of true gifts and wonder of Xmas, wisely dismissing
the commercial glitz and glamor of Xmas, too often more lavishly
celebrated! Thanks for sharing dear! Love the song/video too!
Love, blessings always, Ronni

Thank you so much! I wrote from a place of memories from happy times celebrating with my grandparents. Those were much simpler times for sure! In spite of all those things we celebrate at Christmas, Christ?s birth is by far the most important! Thank you for enjoying! xoxo

Great entry for the Christmas Poetry contest, and best of luck. Wonderful work with the rhyme and flow in this. Very smooth. Your poem contains thoughts of so many pleasant Christmas memories--the fun of decorating the tree, and the mistletoe and carols we associate with the holiday. It's great that you bring in the Christmas stories and the special story of Jesus's birth. I could certainly relate to the things you mention in this. judi

So absolutely beautiful. I wish we could take a turn back so Christmas could be more like this again. I love the poem, the visual, the whole effect. A MORE than sixer, in my personal opinion. So little time to review, but love this so much.
