Elizabeth smiled, "Well we[']re glad you stopped by this afternoon. Come on in."
That is the only spag I saw in this well written chapter. The only remark I have to offer is to have a list of characters some where in the book. I forgot who Casper was, probably because it is so long between books and chapters and I am getting old and forgetful. Job well done for J.B. and Levi. Looking forward to another fine western from you, Larry. Nancy:)

Thank you, I debated for a while about how to end this story. Then I thought the whole book was based on the convict train and finding Matt Cory, the escaped convict. The story ended when Cory was returned to prison. This ending also allowed Levi's journey to go full circle. He began with a ranch and a family, and his journey ended with him returning to that life. (I made the correction, thank you. I wish you all the best. Larry

It was well structured with the full circle and I enjoyed it. You never told me about Casper. Best wishes. Nancy:)

Casper Hayes came into the story in chapter 1 of this last book. He rode with Badger for a long time and he was with Badger when they found Spring Rain and her son. Casper started looking for Bo Meadows with Badger but when the trail went cold they went different ways, until they met up again in this story. Now they will finish the hunt.

I followed this episode just fine. You resolved one situation and introduced another, (with a bit of suspense added. ) I am not sure if I give a hoot what Levi and Elizabeth do, maybe I've missed too many chapters.
The best thing you have done, is create characters with many dimensions in their personalities and contradictions that have the potential to affect what happens next!

Hi Suzanna, thank you very much for your review. A little background. This is the last book in a trilogy regarding Levi Sawyer coming into the valley. He began as a rancher in Montana. His wife was murdered and outlaws took off with several of his horses. He followed them into the valley and started working at the Marley Ranch. Found the men who killed his wife and Joined a posse to bring them in. Met Badger in the process. Fell in love with Mr. Marley's daughter and became Sheriff. Levi going back to ranching was an opportunity for him to go full circle. This book was needed to complete the story. The other two books are on Amazon.

Mister Green it has been a write up the river and the train. You are a very good western story teller. I'll be waiting for your next story about Badger and Casper. Thank you for letting me see through your eyes the West.
