I understand your point of view. I actually agree with you. We have had an artificial tree for over 20 years for our convenience and concern for waste. On the other hand, people raise trees in the same way people raise tomatoes and cucumbers to be sold for other people's needs and pleasure. It's my understanding that all these trees will be replaced.

When we eat the tomatoes and cucumbers we don't kill the plant we are eating it's fruits ..... the plant dies at the end of the season naturally.
Trees are beautiful and they should grow and thrive out side ...there natural habitat.
Cutting it from its roots means killing the pine and only to have the pleasure to have a Christmas tree indoors ....in my opinion ...this is not right.
A month in which it slowly succumbs ...a life that could have instead lived for many many years.

You are ecofriendly and that is a nice thing for the environment. Nothing wrong with small plants, flowers, nice decor and a reusable tree. Well thought out and clearly written. Excellent work :)

If we cut flowers from the plant the plant does not die ..if we cut a tree from its roots it will die.
A tree's life is normally a long life but to satisfy our wishes it's cut short .. It's not right .
