Forever remembered by we who have aged. Too bad once we are gone those memories too may be gone. Will they revive things like that in the future. Who knows. Our world is much too progressive, our fun is not their fun. Well done.

Raffaelina, I fear those days have come and gone, children to day need to be entertained, they are quickly losing the abilities to co-create with others.

Ah anon, what a lovely trip down memory lane with you. The games we played took me back and also on a nostalgia trip. I like 'We played in the rain, the cold, the sun.' We did indeed. Weren't those the days when we knew how to entertain ourselves! You bring back lots of memories. I love the line "We played in the rain, the cold, the sun." We loved to get out in the rain, make snowmen, snow angels, tracks and forts. We played shadow tag in the sun. Those days were fun!

Therese, I agree, they miss far too much of interactive relationship building with another human.

We did play those things, but the way I remember it, a lot of them - hula hoops, pogo sticks, hopskips and so on were crazes... they'd appear in a school, and be very popular and then vanish. Then would come the next thing. It's much the same as it's always been... just more electronic.
