I think this is a good entry for the Childhood contest.
You tell us of a little girl. The artwork is lovely and the video brings back old memories.
Well done and good luck to you with the contest.

A very well-written rhyming poem about an unforgettable childhood experience with living parents who truly care for their children and teach them good manners and how to love other humans.

It was childhood when the child, lady of today, enjoyed each moment of a day in joy and laughter and eating the favourite and enjoying mother's read; well said, well done.

Your poem is so beautiful. Those glittering birds are quite stunning. The days of childhood will be remembered always by the child himself/herself. Were you like a tomboy?

Hi Rosemary! I have always been very feminine and lived around plenty boys. I could do anything like Lynda Carter or Jacqueline Smith... If that's a tomboy... Well, so be it. Thank you :)

A delightful offering of memories in quatrains of aabb format that not only paint a picture of visions but of emotions... loved the video at the end!! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;)

I remember a lot of those things that were common in the 70s. Thanks for sharing this creative writing about your childhood memories. Keep pressing on and making new memories.

entry for many reasons.
-I love the artwork, and
the presentation is good.
-I enjoyed the notes, and
even though I am a bit older,
I enjoyed some of the shows

"All in the Family" is a classic!

has good rhyme and
imagery that all creates
a smooth flow to your poem.
-You sound like a very
happy person who enjoyed
your childhood.
-Good luck in the contest.

Hi Pam! I was naturally a popular wacko, but fairly normal these days. You're nice. Thank you. Hearts & hugs, Alicia
