Thank you so much! I guess they didn't teach me well in school because I never learned the fact until now later in life - thought it was interesting fact! appreciate you enjoyed it!

Great description of how leaves turn color in autumn, but in a poetic form with mostly iambic meter. I like these lines: underneath their greenish tint,
their truer colors lie unseen.
Nice job with this poem.

This is a very interesting observation conveyed through the poetic medium -the leaves remove their green coats as it were! such an effective image 'the earth tilts another way' really enjoyed reading this poem
