That's funny, with a terrific illustration!
I didn't know geese were so sneaky, but I'm glad you warned me. I won't trust them any more.
Good luck in the competition!

Thank you Don for reviewing and the good luck wishes. I really appreciate your kind words. My children were 7 and 10 when this happened lol.

-Nice image and
presentation.
-Your notes are appreciated.
-Effective imagery and
use of one continuous thought.
-The alliteration adds to
your description of their
behavior in stealing fries!
-A good poem, but using
"The" in line one gives
you 6 syllables. It would
read fine without it.
-Good luck in the contest.

Nice job with this form. I like how you move from a description of the bird to a surprise French fry. I associate geese of all kinds with petulant -- the fry detail worked well with my prejudice.

I think this is a good entry for the Bye Bye Blackbird contest.
You describe the Canadian Goose very well.
Well done and good luck to you with the contest.

we have so many Canadian geese that fly by before they go to warmer climates/weather. They sit by the lake in hundreds sometimes; some like them, some don't, as they leave lots droppings (poo) all over. They remind me of a seagull because they love French fries, too.

Thank you so much Yvette for reviewing and your kind comments. They most certainly do fight over it, even more so than seagulls.
