Great rhyme scheme, with a bewitching scene here. The speaker seems to be more than just a human, as evidenced by the last two lines. I love these lines: chill winds come alive/with coyotes' cries. (I added the apostrophe since it would be proper there). The cat stanza is super, too! Super share.

This is an excellent poem for Autumn and it's witchy holiday on All Hallows Eve. I can envision the scene with the moon, dark trees, a familiar and even a broom. I suggest a better rhyme for either "daze" or "way" be found. An easy one for me with five syllables is, "in search for her prey." Well done.

This meets the contest requirements nicely as you deliver a clever and entertaining little ditty of a personal Fall rarity. Good luck in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

Now, this one suprised me. I didn't expect to see the narrator circle and fly away, presumably with the cat on the end of a broomstick. And a little unexpected in November. Maybe it's time for all good witches to fly away home or back to Hogwarts.

I can picture the circling cat with the moon in the background. Love the image you chose, it drew me into the poem. Nicely written, good luck in the contest.
