I am very pleased you won with this entry. "Your favourite philosopher" makes people think of ancient wisdom or dead mystics, but the treasure vault of wisdom, experience and knowledge about life is right under our noses in the older generation, who too often are dismissed as useless. Ninety year old Regina is indeed a wise woman - all the points she wrote down are certainly worth their weight in gold, and your poem is a condensed pearl of wisdom.

I received Regina's list 8 years ago from my cousin and in more than one occasion it has been helpful to me.
I thought entering the competition with her list would give me the opportunity to pass it on to other members of fansite .. the win ️came unexpected.

This list was passed onto me by my Cousin 8 years ago .
...most probably sweet Regina is no longer on this planet , nevertheless she was kind enough to share her learnings .
