Is Mexican Sweat a real game? It sounds like three card drop, a game designed to make big pots for non poker players. I liked this story better than scene around a burning barrel.

Well well well, Bill, who'se having the last word here? We may never know. They might never want to come back to be cheated once more. Well written. Ulla:))

Fortune often smiles on the truly bold or so I am told. The biggest threat to the frequent winner is not that he may be attacked by sore losers. His biggest threat is that he may no longer find anyone willing to trust that he does not somehow cheat.

Quite the group of 'buds' there, Sir Bill! :) ;) I'm looking forward to the scene where Cowboy and MM have a 'back and forth'.... bet you're saving that for when you've got us good and hooked, huh? ;) :) Thanx for sharing, sir! ;) Yvette

I'm really not qualified to comment on this because I'm not a card player and know nothing about poker. You have an interesting and assorted cast of characters. For a Neanderthal, Link doesn't seem too dumb. Interesting dialogue. I don't believe I've ever heard of a suicide king.
I'd say Nine needs some more dialogue. judi

The King of Hearts has a sword raised and parallel to the plane behind his head. It can be said that it looks like it's going through his head by his own hand. After Nine folded I guess I proceeded with the players who were still in the hand. Neanderthals play dumb in order to avoid awkward conversations with Cro-magnon folk.

You can tell I was never a card player, except for Old Maid. I did enjoy the characters. judi

Looks like his winning streak continues lol. The script is well-written, interesting realistic. Your dialogue brings your characters to life. Nice job.

You deliver a technically sound script which follows all the rules of form splendidly. The content is engaging as the dialog follows the normal pattern of gripes and such one hears at the card table. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Just love this super script between these four odd ball characters. You are a most imaginative script, particularly with the fascinating characters that you manage to create Bill. Of course Odin is a tease, but a wise tease. Well done, good scribing Bill, well done, blessings Roy
Typo What(')s a suicide card?

This would make a good visual scene, it cries for it. To see the cards that explain the various bids, etc.
Is this a play or a movie?

I like t he way you showed each character in how they played the game.

I don't play poker and I know that poker has its own language. I did find the tidbit about the suicide king interesting. I always thought the sword was behind his head.

It is behind his head. It used to be an ax, but somewhere along the line he lost his facial hair and the ax became a sword.
