The power of love is amazing! If only the power could always flow in a positive direction. The pain of rejection is so difficult to comprehend and bear. The image you selected is very strong and forthright.

Your word control is so impressive. You met all the requirements of an ottava rima, and did so with a extended metaphor. You kept the waterfall image going throughout with powerful words in each line. I could feel the pull of the emotions like the pull of the surging water.
This is well crafted. Surely it will do well in the contest.
