What! Just as it was getting good you going to kill the outlaws? :) Mr. Green this is a very good story. I know all stories end, but I can see Badger riding that mule Sallie-May and the trail with dust in the air and the eagle in the trees. The sounds of a lovely camp and then silence. You gonna write some more westerns?

Hi poetwatch, I smiled when I read your "What!." I had much more I wanted to put into this chapter, but it would have been too long, and the flow of the story would change. There are still a couple more chapters to go. Thank you so much for your kind review.

It seems Matt Cory has found J.B. and Patterson, but Badger is further up the trail hidden in the shade of some tall brush aware that something is wrong. Patterson has been shot, hopefully wounded, not dead. They have a chance now to recapture Matt Cory and if they do Badger will probably continue on to reap vengeance on Bow Meadows for murdering his woman. Well done, Larry. Nancy:)
