That was a lovely narrative about Santa and how he arrives and what he does. We all love what happens Christmas Eve, for the children especially. The picture is beautiful because we never tire of seeing Santa. Thank you for sharing.

Great story and enjoyable to read. So I had a question- because I honestly would like to know. If you use punctuation, does it have to be through the whole poem. At times you used punctuation and at times you did not in this piece.
I think it would be easier for me to read, if you took all the punctuation out and just let it flow. But of course you could use the punctuation in each.stanza as if you were reading it to an audience.

Thank you, for your review. Sometimes I just get lazy on my punctuation. Thanks also, for the stars.

This is a very nice poem on your rendition of "Twas The Night Before
Christmas." You have done a great job with the images. They are
very vivid. The rhyming is good.

Hi Willie, and who dares to say that Santa Claus does not exist. You have just convinced me that he does LOL. A sweet story that every child should read. Good Luck in the contest. Regards Dorothy

I remember well listening for the hoofbeats and the jingle of the harness on the roof. Lying there, holding my breath, anxious, eager for the man in the red suit to come visit. At times I was sure I heard it.
Good poem

That's a fun take on 'The Night Before Christmas.' I can imagine you going outside in just a nightshirt to see the reindeer. A couple of years ago my son in law threw horse droppings on the roof to show the kids what the reindeer had done. Lots of fun.

Thank you, Cindy, It would be too cold here in Idaho to go outside in
a night shirt. I love the horse droppings trick. Sounds like your son has quite a sense of humor.
