This is a rather frivolous poem and an excellent contest entry. The idea of frilly knickers made me smile. The words create a striking image which is well complemented by the picture.

The rhododendrons are blooming here at the moment, so the 'frilly knickers' come in different colours.

It read well and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues as well.
Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned Perfectly and good luck with this.

This is a cute little poem. The format tanka is very suitable for your theme.When we were young we used to say bloomers and the usage here has an extra stress on the imagery
