I gave you 6 stars for graciously putting yourself in your sons body and mind to write for him. and not just this time, but the other times as well. it must be a painful transition. I;m sure Jason is proud of you sharing his story.

Unfortunately, I took a 68 day forced break.
Let's just say that sometimes I don't get along with Tom.

It is amazing how organ transplants can save so many lives in a matter of minutes. Time is of the Essenes and must be done quickly or so many will die waiting on the list.

Thank you for sharing this important story and update on Jason"s organs. Four lives given life and years of happiness is a great gift. I'm glad I'm an organ donor after hearing this I wonder why more people don't take the time to do this. At 64, as far as I know, my organs are doing pretty great. I just need new retinas. I continue to pray for you and your great losses. It is overwhelming.
Sends you my best today as always,
Sally xo

What a very emotional story and challenge this must have been to write. You beautifully expressed the progression of the physical body dying but yet organs being saved. I love how the Son is questioning what is happening to his Earthen vessel as he is in the midst of himself leaving this physical plane to that of the ethereal. Beautiful expression I'm sure it was a challenge to write this piece but you needed to write this hopefully this will give you strength to continue with the journey of life. A loving beautiful tribute to your son. It is also a loving beautiful tribute to life. Hopefully the organs that were able to be saved will save another's life. So personal, so meaningful, peace and blessings

17 almost years later three out of four people walk this Earth still on no anti-rejection drugs because of Jason's gift.

You deliver yet another well penned and vivid portrayal of that awful night so long ago. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

No doubt, father is a doctor, his only son Jason gave no chance to care for him, he left for heaven, he donated his organ-tissue and gifted to one for a life; father has to bear all these at the loss of his son; well said, well done.

This is a poem about organ tissue transplantation.yOu have approached this sensitive topic with great dignity and have succeeded in writing a very hear touching poem with the boy's cold juxtaposed with the doc-nurse conversation.

This is really good. It also has a feature of sadness, and it's disheartening to think on the fact that yes, this indeed does happen. But why would his friend want to do that to him?

What I didn't put in the Palm West at Brian's mother was the administrator the sports department of Southern Regional high School she can have time for him just his younger brother and the father was an alcoholic + Brian wasn't liked by his friends he was mentally ill.
    Thanks,

I'm glad you wrote this. It's a real tribute to your son. So many lives you and your son have touched because of his organ donations. When our son passed away, his disease would have kept us from donating. I'm happy that Jason was able to help others live.
God bless!!
Patty
