Your entry carries a very strong message. A message that surely every red-blooded American agrees with.
However, in my opinion, I fear that it might be too late. Our president has turned so many of our long-standing allies into enemies and I doubt seriously if we will ever recover from that, regardless, who is president.
And, at the same time, he has befriended our mortal enemies.
What in the hell is happening to "America, the great?"

No, I would never give up or give in on our great country. I was born during the second world war and I served in the United States Air Force all over southeast Asia during the Vietnam war. After all that, I went to work for the United States Army at Fort Knox, Ky for nearly 30 years.
So, needless to say, I would die fighting for her. It just really bothers me having "A__holes" like we have now sitting in our Whitehouse...

My friend, thank you, I needed to get that off my chest... I believe we are collectively a much better people than we see, hear or read about in the papers on the airwaves. It is imperative that we vote and then regardless of outcomes we must become cohesive and back our elected leaders and exact, NO DEMAND, they do the same.

I agree with you fully. You caught me with your first line: Dear Democrats or Republicans. The two major parties are so busy trying to control that they can't work together. In fact, they almost seem to hate one another. I wish you could send that poem to every politician, esp. in D.C., with all of our signatures!

Darlene! thank you, if we could only get the registered populace out to yote, one-time for change and just the dice roll at least we would be, I believe, have a chance to fix this. I have friends of all political persuasions and they ALL are saying the same thing....makes you wonder..

Yes! Because while I dislike Trump and his policies, and I'm a registered Democrat, I don't like the way the Dems are handling the problems. Attack instead of presenting a better alternative, you know? I like your idea about the vote, lol

Thanks, I do not want to believe it will not happen, to give up hope is to leave this life with my grandchildren suffering from our politician's ineptitude to speak out and reclaim this country.

May we never forget that this entire earth belongs to the one who created it, and who graciously allows us to occupy it. When we are gone from the physical earth and from the memory of most folks, this earth will still be here and will be occupied by someone else. Someone who may not look like us, think like us or believe as we do, and we won't be able to do a darn thing about it.

Nomi, I am lockstep right with you. I confess I do not know God's plan, other than to save the righteous believers who have accepted the one true "I AM". However, I am quite concerned that we are headed toward anarchy and that worries me.
