I like your message but I felt, in my opinion your nonet lacked the poetic feel. It seemed more prose to me - a sentence broken up to fit the nonet criteria. The second line could read:"Independents also addressed (8 syllables) Then, "politics consumes you all"(7 syllables) etc.

Will Rodgers' famous quote about lawyers applies equally well to politicians. He saw a gravestone that said 'here lies a politician and an honest man. He said, "Look. They buried two men in the same grave."

On the other hand, I respectfully remind you that, while the current upheaval is a little over the top, it is what our framers planned (Federalist Papers). In the United States, our revolutions are designed to take place within those rules of the First Amendment and not in the streets. If those First Amendment freedoms are removed or ignored, then that is why the Second Amendment is so important and why we must keep it. God Bless America.

Reese I am a student of the constitution and I couldn?t agree more, however, even in the forming of our nations great documents decorum, civility and compromises rule the day. We have list all of this with this divided maelstrom of politicians.
