Comment from Gloria ....
Oh dear, a skin collector. You know how to weave a horror tale that sends chills up and down a person's spine. Doesn't matter what time of day, always gotta watch out for the "killer".
Excellent flash fiction for the Halloween contest and I wish you great luck with the Committee. :)

Woo-hoo! I'm thrilled you liked it! Now as for the judges... umm, I'm not having a lot of luck with them this year. There is much wonderful writing on this site.
C'est la vie, mon ami, but it's fabulous to have such warm support and encouragement from other respected and admired authors. Thank you very much, Gloria! You're the cat's pajamas. :)))

What a charming picture to house such grisly activity. No telling what's in the cellar. Maybe all those skins he collect. Eeeeeek! These days, I'd be suspicious of being taken to a vehicle by anyone I didn't know.

Hi Dawn,
I wish I could write Flash Fiction like this. I tend to ramble and end up with full blown novel. It takes skill to get this right, and you have achieved that. This was a good clear read that flowed freely. I like the content, very un-nerving.
Loved it.

I am sure you can, Brenda -- I've read your work and I know how talented you are. Brevity just takes practice (and ruthlessness) -- I write a LOT, and I STILL find I have 'darlings to kill' sometimes. (quote is Stephen King's)
Thanks very much. :)

This meets the contest requirements splendidly as you deliver a complete and compelling horror story in under 500 words. The content build tension well to the point of climax and leaves the reader with having to use their own imagination to fill-in what happens next. Good luck in the judging and thank you very much for sharing it.

This is a great flash fiction story, my friend. A very eerie one that definitely reminds me to never trust strangers. I am far too trusting for my own good. I want to believe people are inherently good. Best wishes in the contest, my friend~Debbie
I know never to trust doctors, there are so many that have no clue what they are doing.

How horrible, but I heard of something similar last week. Please can't even apply for jobs anymore without worrying about the situation. How horrible. I enjoyed reading your contest entry and wish you the best of luck.
