-Very nice image
and presentation.
-The syllable count
and form are good,
as well as the effective
use of one continuous thought.
-Vivid fall imagery with
"crimson mates" and "canary yellow sky."
-A good comparison to the butterfly,
and a very good concluding line.
-Very well done; good luck!

"A Falling Leaf", is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. To me, this is a six, but I'm never given enough of them.

This beautiful. I love the way you describe so delicately, the leaves having a life of their own, as they swoop and play in the wind, and end up joining other leaves to fade away. Your description is much better than mine. I love the comparison to a Monarch Butterfly. Also, the use of colors, such as "crimson mates" and "canary yellow sky" is wonderful and adds flavor to the mix. My favorite word/phrase is in the last line. "mesmerized" as a state of being, watching the scene of falling leaves, is a fantastic and creative description of what is inside of you. And, all this in an etheree, no less. Well written, within the form, and without the form. Ir could be straight poetry, and I would still find it enjoyable to read. Thank you for sharing this treasure.
Take care, Jesse

A very well-written Etheree about the falling leaves that often reminds of the Monarch butterflies fluttering around. To watch Autumn happen day by day is quite mesmerisingly beautiful.

This has an atmospheric autumn feel to it with the falling leaves and the monarch butterfly memories, leaves turning crimson against the yellow sky soon to fade as autumn takes hold, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

The opening simile is so great. And the word choice describing a leaf's descent is spot-on. This makes me wish fall lasted longer. Well done and good luck!

I really enjoyed reading this Etheree poem. The descriptive words used to aid in allowing a visual, the picturing a falling leaf's dance, are top notch.
