NOW using a scarab is pretty darn inventive and gutsy. This is well penned and executed brilliantly. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.

Thanks for your comments. I never judge a guy by his profession, but this little fellow never washed his feet.

You're on a roll with these boyfriends {winks}. I guess if you ever ordered a Chinese takeaway he'd always choose a number two...

Been there, dung that. -- Ha, ha!

Another enjoyable read!

Oh that's funny - everything would be a number two. Even if it was particularly scrummy he'd probably still say it tasted like crap.

LOL! Well, you've dung it again! This guy would do best staying downwind when others are around or he may end up being just another piece of dust in the wind! Could you imagine giving birth to your little maggots in a Poop Hospital? Oh well, he can knock off the crap! He's gone to the big crapper in the sky@

They are so useful. We have a few varieties here in NZ, clearing pastures.

A humerus little slice of stinky romance friend. The humble dung beetle wooing the ladies with his industrial ingenuity and rolling skills ha, ha. Dung Hill would be the Hilton would it not...

'Crappy moods' oh...my...gosh...and I bet he kept you up past midnight listening to teeny-tiny records of the Beatles. Sounds like he was used to first grade humor...and his taste for fashion only ran to dungarees. Chuckled once, twice, and came dung-erously close to a third time! These bug-friend, er boyfriend pieces are still fresh and funny.

It's amazing seeing these going backwards, rolling up their balls of dung (so to speak). I have some scarab beetles made of a blue material. They hand them out almost like lollies in Luxor.

As long as you don't eat them like lollies!
    Thanks for your review.

This is surprisingly good, considering it's about a dung beetle...yuk! I wonder what attracted you to him in the first place. Could NOT have been his cologne, or what he fed you on your first date. LOL!

Aw, and I would have thought he was even tempered and just likes collecting and eating crap. I guess that could put someone in a crappy mood! Another fun one!

They are admirable little creatures - very useful for tidying up cow pastures.
