A very well-written irregular ode to a dear friend who fight long and hard but eventually lost the battle against cancer, but he left a piece of him in your heart. I am sure he will meet you there when your time comes.

I thought the poem was a lovely tribute to someone that was obviously dearly loved. I saw no errors and it had a lovely flow and accompanying picture which suited the poem very well.

I had written in a college course, but he truthfully is the person who encouraged me through surgeries and Parkinson?s to begin writing poetry again. Twelve years were some of my happiest. Thanks for your positive review!

All my friends departed this earth with dignity and joy, not fearing the unknown, knowing their redeemer. This is a sad story and I have heard similar ones. Sometimes men are unfaithful, other times they are good as gold and we lose them anyway. Touching poem with a good rhyme scheme.
