Bravo, Jesse! This is so much we need to do:
"They can pull together as a team
when people mean what they say
and say what they mean"
I've seen too much of the blame-throwing and violence. It's time that we reached out and helped each other and tried to understand the different views! We can't rely on the politicians to "say what they mean!"

Thank you for your encouragement, and a positive view, of my poem. I appreciate you showing the part you liked best. I agree the politicians cannot be wholly trusted to tell their truth. But we can afford to be honest and listen to each other. That is a good first step. Thank you for your valid insights.
