I am working on getting that app, but it takes time and money, something I don't currently have.

I gave it a six because of the honesty in discussing your issues. It might be possible to do a Milton... have someone type your posting... it worked for him.

I am so sorry to hear that your eyesight has gotten worse. Is there no way to "zoom" in on the text or use a handheld magnifier or both? I am glad you have a large t.v. so that you can at least still enjoy your movies. Take good care of yourself- Joan

I have raised the font size quite a bit and it helps but I can't go much higher since the larger the font the page becomes so big that often only three or four words can go on a line on the screen.

My mother had a special magnifying light that I, foolishly, gave away after she died. It was quite expensive too.

Thanks for the positive thoughts. Yes, audio book are a bit more expensive but many say worth the price.

There aren't many medications that will help my eyesight but giving them a good rest does help considerably.
