I like this poem very much, my friend, which offers a soothing mood for readers to tune into. I don't drink coffee, but I do find tea to be as yummy. The artwork you've selected is wonderful and sets the poem up to be thoroughly enjoyed.

I think fall more than any other season brings to mind specific foods. But then golden cider, orange pumpkins, red apples, the color scheme of the autumn treats matches the season.

You really captured the essence of autumn. Originally from N.J., I now live in the south and miss it.
I can't do anything about snowflakes, but I think I'll buy some pumpkin cake and cider. Nicely written. Hugs, Lou

The slice of pumpkin cake sounds delightful! I think Halloween was an American invention and we now enjoy all the treats it offers. Apple spiced cider too, I enjoyed this tasty poem, my mouth is watering now, love Dolly x

Thanks for sharing your florette! I admit though that I'm not a big fan of pumpkin but some love it. I'd go for the apple cider, though! I still have to write my florette and am learning like you.
Your florette is almost right except it has to have an internal rhyme with your third line in the 8th syllable of your last and longest line.

This is an excellent piece. It vividly describes a peaceful, appealing scene that centers around food and drink--and so much more. Seasonal goodies are more than just goodies; they're symbols.

Great lyrical flow. The first stanza stood apart, however, it all worked together nicely. Good rhythm and rhymes. Nice visual imagery created. Good work.

This is a very nice and well written Florette poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive words and lovely imagery from the art work you chose. Made me want to join in on the Fall fun. Blessings, Teri

I like your florette very much. I like that you combined your fall food with the chill of winter. Your mugs of pumpkin spice and apple cider cinnamon blast need that swirling snow to be fully appreciated. In Alabama, we are lucky if Halloween night is chillier than 70 degrees. All the little children in their warm costumes are miserable in the heat.
I enjoyed your poem very much. I think I will head to Starbucks now.
