When I found FanStory, I was looking for a local group of writers. I joined never knowing that I would meet so many interesting people and make lasting friendships. This is a great contest entry.

I did not suggest I "enjoyed" your poem. Instead, I offered my congratulations, rather than condolences for this effort and your efforts to date. I did not wish to be completely candid in my opinion, because I am rewarded for my honesty by being muted by supposed sensitive and intelligent writers on this site, perhaps even those who are offering you their assistance, which has not proved at all helpful with this write.

It's always good to keep learning and improving, and no matter how long you write, there is always more to learn, for example, in dialogue, with the ever changing slang of kids and trends of interest.
Good for you for loving to write, for that is what it takes to be a good writer. That and reading.
