I'd call it a very funny outcome, excellent play on words to describe what might be happening in this cage (fight or love) very well done and best wishes for your contest****kahpot

This is delightfully silly. I don't know what is more fun, imaging the combination in flesh and feathers or the word play that you have used to try to describe it.

Thanks so much. As you will see, if you read any more of my stuff, I love silly. So, I very much appreciate your comments.
By the way, welcome to Fan Story! The contests are fun and there are some neat, smart people here. It's fun to get to know them.
(By the way, again, review as many posts as you can to avoid having to always pay to be able to promote your stuff.

I love this very clever answer and 5/7/5 entry in this and to this dilemma of what one would call the offspring of a goose and a rooster, I would think a Goock, it would be the only be a chick anyway, well done, excellent entry, good luck, blessing Roy

This is a cute and humorous piece which meets the guidelines set out in the writing prompt. The picture is a nice addition. I enjoyed reading this poem. Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm, with the goose chasing the rooster, who is undeniably male, or at least one might assume so, that's one bold goose chasing after him. Can we call that a goose chase? Why is the rooster running? Is he afraid of being hen pecked? This is really funny no matter how you read it! I'd give you a six if I still had one.

Ha, ha! This is a fun 5-7-5 poem.
If this was mine, maybe I'd use "Cross" instead of "Mix", but that may be down to regional differences in language used.
Best of luck with this when the voting booth opens {smiles}.
