This is an interesting read, and for the most part the rhyme scheme works within the poem. You met the contest requirements and chose an excellent picture to complement it. You might consider breaking the poem up into stanzas.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated. It has truly been a life saver for me to be inspired to write again! I decided not to break apart because I could not make even lines stanzas. So I thought it better to keep it one long continuous poem! xoxo

Very nicely rhymed and mixed metre poem, author. The photograph works really well in starting our imaginations running with characters and authors. Great that you have found FanStory and can share your excellent poetry with all.
