These flash fiction entries are so clever. You had me going until the very end. I could just see Caitlyn kneading dough while you droned on. That kneading part is my favorite of your misleading tricks.
Well done. If it were me though, I would use third person instead of the "I," but that is because someone recommended that to me. They said that my flash fiction did not sound like fiction when I used "I." So, I try to steer clear of it. Just passing that along for what it's worth. Yours does not look biographical. I think mine did for some reason.

I agree, Yvette. I don't think changing the voice would make a bit of difference. I have to be careful not to use I because my flash fiction often contains a kernel of truth.
