Hi Sally,
I find thee strict forms so challenging. You have written this one with ease and it is beautiful read aloud. I love the picture you chose. Just beautiful.
Well done

Thank you so much, dear Brenda. I'm so glad you liked it. I just checked on this poem, and noticed it somehow got knocked out of its form. I'm glad you called attention to this as I like the form to stay smooth and consistent without any breaks. I like the Nonet centered like a vase. Thanks again for the lovely review and kind compliments. Have a wonderful day, Brenda. Sally xo

This is a very satisfying nonet poem. It is extremely clever to put the strongest physical structures that could serve as barriers against a storm before the haven offered by religion. This makes both this shelter, and the end of the poem, extremely strong, so the crescendo is a resounding one.

Hi Sally, this is such a lovely nonet, and it is so very well written with a great message within. I wish it had been for a contest, because it would have done so very well. Ulla xxx

Thank you, Ulla. I?m so glad you enjoyed my Nonet for the 9th. Feel free to join in any ninth day of the month. (Hint, hint.)
I think the Nonet is the loveliest poetry form, especially centered.
Sending you my best today as always

Amen!! There is nothing and no one like our savior. What would I be without Him I cringe to think. This is so well done and counting all those syllables deserves a 6. =} Rox

This is a precious picture with an eternal message. It is such an uplift to encounter. I love the Psalms, and you have cited a wonderful one that I have called upon and lifted up concerning problems that seemed to be getting close to becoming overwhelming. Relief and peach of mind always arrives without fail. Love your posting! xoxo

And we are hidden under his wings - there we'd like to abide. A good poem to show how much we depend on the shelter of his wings. And I'm thankful he's much higher, wiser - we can pray for our government with that in mind I think, and pray for others in the same way.

Hi Sally. This is a lovely Nonet, written and illustrated well. I like the premise and feel the same. We don't have to "go" anywhere, just acknowledge him and we know we are safe and not alone. Marilyn

I am mesmerized by your very well constructed nonet and the addition of the authors notes. I am trying to find the rules for the challenge of nonets, please let me know

Thank you so much, Barb. I appreciate the excellent review and kindest compliments. At the bottom portion of my Nonet, in the author?s note section, is the Nonet criteria. I do these every ninth of the month as a challenge to myself as a new poet. This particular style is lovely to me and is my favorite. Thank you, again.
Sending you my best today as always,
