Congratulations, I am so happy when one of us is getting published, because this means that the hidden drawer that used to keep your thoughts and ideas, got robbed again:) one of those stories got out and got published:) Thank you for sharing and good luck with your next book.

I love that about the hidden drawer, that is just what it's like, isn't it? Thank you so much for this lovely review, Iza, I really appreciate it. Big hugs, my friend. Sandra xxxx

That's wonderful! It brought tears to me eyes to hear of Eric's achievements. I'm so sorry he was bullied. I was, too, as a child, and I can tell you I hate bullies to this day. Eric sounds like one of my sons. He, too, keeps everything to himself, and will tell me 2-3 years later. Many very successful people are dyslexic. Did you know the man who wrote "Rockford Files" is, and Einstein! You should take photos of Eric when he receives his book and share them. Hurry with your next book. No one enjoys them more than I do. I'm sending a big hug across the ocean.

I hate it that you were bullied, Yvonne. I hate bullies! Why don't boys open up more? I just want to keep him safe and away from all that. But, he's so much happier now at his new school. I didn't know that about Einstein and the author of the Rockford Files, I'll be sure to tell my son that, and Eric! Thank you so much for the six stars, my dear friend, and for all the lovely things you've said. The only downside was you being bullied, I'd like to meet those people in a darkened alley! Thank you for the hug! Sending one right back for you! Biggest hugs, my friend. Sandra xxxx

I'd like to meet them again and in a dark alley. I'm not the timid little thing I was then. I may be small, but I'm mean!

Hello Sandra,
Wow, Indeed! What a great book and book cover.
I think Eric could get a job posing for future book covers,
that "killer" smile is worth a million dollars (or pounds).
Looks like everyone is part of the cover:
Herbie, the bike, the totem, the chief/medicine man.
Great news about Eric, too!! The new school could be just what he needs.
(Mr Rogers is a famous name in the US in children's telly.)
Wellllll Done!!!
Good luck with the book. Can't wait for the pharaohs!
Robert

Bless your heart, thank you, Robert! Yes, his smile melts my heart every time. I'm glad you like the cover, I found the basic part on Can Stock. It doesn't cost a lot, and you are free to do whatever you want with them. I found my Trilogy cover on there too. So I've been very lucky. Thank you so much for the six stars, dear friend. I don't think my Mr Rogers is the same one. lol, but I'm sure he wishes he was. Thanks again, Robert. Oh, by the way, your book, Tales of a Scottish Wood, and Pam's book is in my case ready for my holiday to Barbados. I'll try and see which one is the new story in your book. Big hugs!! :) Sandra xxx

That is a great real life story about encouraging your grandson and really making a difference in his life. That is what the world needs more of today. Keep writing and sharing. Congratulations on publishing your book. If you don't mind, how expensive and how long does the process take to get that done?

Thank you so much for your kind review, Bill. It doesn't cost anything if you publish with KDP. I've published a few books with them now, and the royalty payments are excellent. It's so easy to follow their instructions, and they are very helpful if you get stuck. Once they have checked it through and say it is fine to publish, they immediately put it on Amazon and other online sites. They also put your books in their book stores in America. Unfortunately, we don't have any of those in England. But, go for it, you have nothing to lose. If you need any more help, I'll be here. Thank you again. :)) Sandra xx

Congratulations! Getting a book published is no small feat. I must admit I missed this story, but will have to check it out.

Great news about your grandson too! He sounds like such a smart boy. Rubic's cube takes me much longer than a few seconds so he must have a sharp and logical mind.

Have a wonderful day and thank you for making me smile with your uplifting news.

Thank you so much for your lovely words, my friend. He is a very smart young lad but needs his confidence in himself boosting. We understand more now that he has opened up to us. His expertise with the Rubik Cube has to be seen to be believed. I'm so proud of him. Thanks again! :)) Sandra xx

I'm so sorry about Eric being dyslexic. I would never want that disease to him ever. I'm glad that he's happily married. He is a nice person. I'm so glad that you dedicated these books to him. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story! Prayers and good wishes to you both!

Thank you for sharing your story. I have two kids with special needs and as a parent it is hard. Your writing is very relatable and I enjoyed it very much.

I hope your children aren't being bullied. We didn't know until Eric left that school. He keeps things to himself. But, he's thriving now that he is with other children who are struggling like him. His confidence has grown heaps. I know how you must feel, you can't help but be protective, they are our children, (and grandchildren) Some of the reviews I've received have given me so much relief in as much as how many famous people were like Eric. I'm sure your two children will be fine even though you will naturally worry about them always. Thank you so much for your kind review. :) Sandra xxx

Hello Sandra and congratulations on your book. It is wonderful to hear that your grandson is getting the proper guidance and help he needs, children can be so cruel at times. I was often made fun of as a child, so I know exactly how it can be. Congrats again!

Thank you for your lovely words, my friend. I know children can be so cruel, we just didn't know that Eric was being bullied or we would have done something about it. But, he's a resilient lad, and getting on wonderfully now. I'm sorry you suffered with bullying at school, I bet you never told your parents either. Sending you a big hug. :)) Sandra xx

Wonderful news! You're helping him so much. I'm glad they found the right school for him. Generally, kids grow out of dyslexia later on, at least to a large extent. I've read that it affects very bright kids for some reasons. A lot of highly successful people started out dyslexic. Nelson Rockefeller comes to mind, but I can't recall the others now. I'm sure they're online somewhere.

I've missed you. Where have you been? I guess the real world pulled you back in. Don't stay away too long.

Mark is on his way to China for ten days, and Katy is staying with me. So nice to have her here. :)

Oh, that's great that Katy is with you! I bet you two are having so much fun together. I've been stuffed up with the flu, and the head that has been pounding non-stop hasn't helped. It went on my chest and finally I had to call the doctor. He put me on a course on antibiotics and up-graded my inhaler. (he also told me off!) I'm back now, though, and feel so much better.
I've been learning a lot about dyslexia, and you're right, many very intelligent people have had to cope with it. It really hurt me and Eric's parents when he told us what the other children had been calling him, because he is not at all 'dumb' (I hate that word now) If Rockerfeller had it, I've no worries for Eric! lol. Thank you, Phyllis, for your very kind words. I really appreciate what you've said. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx
