I like your cute story, but what I like even more is that it show - not tells - all of us, no matter what we should feel it's OK to take a break. And be cute or silly or goofy or whatever. This is cute enough for me to say I think you have a leg up on the contest!

Hahaha. Such a well written, funny story, Yvette. My only suggestion would be to replace "stepped' with a more dog friendly word, so to speak.

You know, I wasn't sure what I was gonna write for this one, but it just came to me on the front porch as I was 'decompressing' and my husband had been talking early in the day about doing something about the doggie door in our back door [been there since we bought the place and we have cats so it's 'immovable']... :) So glad Walter made you see stars...:) :) :) You have a great week out there, ma'am, and enjoy some Google Travels!! ;) :) Yvette

Please read not only the offerings when you review, but also the contest definitions associated with each one of them. Contests usually have MANY restrictions which are designed to challenge the writers here on FanStory and improve their skills. Your low rating here is, unfortunately, a poor reflection on the reviewer and not on the piece up for review.
Also, the last line of your review here is ONLY true if a post receives MORE than TEN reviews. The highest and the lowest ratings ARE included in the calculations if ten reviews are not received.... you should include that fact to be honest in your statement.
