And so we wonder - and wonder - what is out there. Who is out there. The coverup the military did on the sightings and such. I udnerstand many people gather at the site every year to - well almost like worsship.
I've always felt that God could very well have peopled another planet - why should we be so valuable to Him? I wonder.
Good job.

LOL! Now there's a very original acrostic offering, sir -- great use of your rhyming couplets to really make this one 'sing'... ;) :) And to think, you smoothly rhymed isotopes!! ;) :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck in the contest! ;) Yvette

Songs of the spheres were doubtful, the sources could not be guessed properly, but listeners knew who wrote the score; well said, well done.
Typos:
A celestial cacophany for human ears -- A celestial cacophony for human ears
Repetetive notes in cosmic envelopes --- Repetitive notes in cosmic envelopes

I like this a lot. It captures a bit of the mystery that is the heavens. I assume the answer to the muse "Surely they know who wrote this score" is the Martians.
Wishing you the best of luck with the contest judging committee {smiles}.

Cute acrostic poem and I'm impressed with all the scientific terms you so skillfully worked into it. No, we don't know what to believe anymore. Just read they're going to photograph a black hole in the Milky Way. There's a song for you!

I think there are aliens out there. Why would we be the only life in an endless universe? Perhaps they are even making music. I've seen things in the sky I couldn't identify, but I can't swear they were from another planet. Good luck in the contest.

I had no idea that acrostics could be so advanced. This is a remarkably neat poem. As a scientist, I don't really like your use of the word "isotopes," but I think that everything else works really well!

Thanks Nickie. LOL
Yes you caught me. :) I of course I took poetic license with the use of "isotopes" in my poem.
Thank you so much for your supportive comments. They are really appreciated.

Thanks Tim. I do appreciate your thoughts on this.
It is incomprehensible to me that there are no intelligent aliens out there. As you say very likely too far away for us to ever cross their path without their intervention.
