Also very clever... you should've known, though, that it would never work. There's the dog breath you'd have to contend with day in and day out. Not to mention the whining...

I wouldn't mind whining if it was wining and dining. Even the pig couldn't get that right - it was swining and dining with him.

That's one beautiful dog, LisaMay. You have good taste I see that now. :) Don't stop loving and living a life with those that need love also. Thank you.

I go for quality. But that dog was too strong for me - he dragged me off into the bushes. Later, I threw a ball for him and he never came back. So much for love.

Your series is fun to read. I love the photo of this one. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say. Have a pleasant day and may it be full of blessings.

Isn't that dawg so deliciously un-beautiful! Thanks for your loyalty to these stories.

A very well-written fifty word relationship notice. This one can work out for a lifetime. He will be a loyal friend even after the relationship ends.

You are right about the loyalty - more lasting than some relationships.

Another fun one - this time with a "pooch" who has been "leading you on." I often see this with dog walkers that it's clearly the dog that's walking their humans.

And is it the dogs who begin to look like their owners or the owners start to match their pooches?

It pleases me hugely to think I am putting giggles out there - free to good homes. I very much appreciate stealing one of your 6s.

This new boyfriend poem is doggone cute, and the subject is only a little bowl-legged (or is it bull-legged, if it's a bulldog?). I like the last line. Everyone knows, based on this poem, that love is ruff. Love your doggy de-tails!

Your additional puns are doggone cute too! I love how you are getting into the spirit of these silly stories.

Well done for your critter stories. You might put in a bit more about his personality - for example "he smooches with me on the couch, but I know he likes my neighbor best. " or some such. Good job.

Thanks for giving the story such a high rating! I really appreciate your loyalty with this series. Have you got a favourite yet?
I'm keeping all the stories to 50 words, which limits how much detail I can put in.

I'll have to review them again - don't have a fav. yet - I look forward to more. There have been some that used more of the "critter" angles.

I continue to be a faithful follower of this fun series, LisaMay. Your creativity flows unabated. Sorry you couldn't make it. Perhaps your breeds were incompatible. Keep trying.

Loved your author notes

I commend your loyalty. I think I am just a bitch, that's why it didn't work. Actually, the bulldog was too boring for me - he was too fat to chase the frisbee.

Well I guess we could say that getting together with this guy has left you barking up the wrong tree. It's up to you but I think he does play around a lot and at silly games to boot! I mean what's this frizbee thing he's got going on. How many times is he going to keep chasing that dang thing before he realizes that he's only being made a fool of by the kids at the park? Get over it already! Well, I hope he makes a clean break from all of this behavior!
Take care@!

Thanks for your fun review. I don't think that bulldog is the frisbee chasing type. That would be beneath his dignity. He looks more like the 'smoking a pipe while reading the newspaper' type of guy. Far too sedate for me. Plus he drinks whiskey and I don't like the smell.
