I think this is a good and truly sad entry for the Sadness contest.
I feel for you and your loss on your loved one.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thanks so much Sharon for your caring review and 5 star. Peter was a wonderful man. Faith will get us through this heartbreak.
God bless you.

First, may I say I'm sorry for your loss. When someone takes their own life it leaves those left behind to wonder how did we miss the signs? Why didn't he come and talk to us? We would have listened
As you say you may never know the answer. God bless you and all of your family that has been touched by this young man's life.

Hi There.
Thank heaven I have not lost a close member of my family yet. Both my parents are in their eighties and I dread the day of their passing. I know it has to come. When you lose someone so quickly without warning the pain of loss must be unbearable. There are no goodbye's or answers that can ease your loss.
I hope one day you will be able to live without that sudden loss.
Bless you.

I suppose we spend a lot of time trying to comprehend something we may never understand. Suicide is on that list. Your poem is SO well-written, heart-wrenching, and beautiful.

A very well-written heartfelt and extremely sad poem. We cannot really know why God chose a specific one at a specific time that not always make sense to us but God has a good reason, we just have to trust Him.

This is a very sad poem. But you expressed yourself very well.
I could hear the sadness and pain that was written.
Your poem is excellent. Good rhyming.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing my poem.
I so appreciate it.

It is obvious the Speaker is unable to deal with her nephew's death and she seems to be in a state of denial, even when she peers at his grave. All seems surreal now.

You are so right. The only way to get through at times is denying what happened. Thanks for taking the time to review my poem.
Kind regards.

This is a very touching piece of free verse that dells on the subject of a family bereavement, and asks the question that is always asked in such circumstances, why? We never get a satisfactory answer to that one, I'm afraid.

Thanks for your caring review. We may never know the answer. I truly miss Peter. He was so special. Thank God for my faith. Where would I be now without it?

Oh, this is a heart-breaking offering for the contest...certainly fitting for the 'call'... You have a wonderful rhythm and rhyme scheme as you abcbdb sings the melancholy and the love while your repeated last line sings the despair... very emotional and well-penned. Thank you for sharing your heart and his smile -- and best of luck to you in the contest! :)
