I understand your pain, because I recently lost my father. The only thing we can do is to remember them in their happy moments and keep in our hearts their precious image. Good luck with the contest and thank you for sharing.

I am sorry for your loss. Your words capture the essence of the pain and confusion of many unanswered questions. As cathartic release and healing therapy, I give this five stars.
As poetry, you repeated theme (It's surreal) is strong and your a-b-a-c-a rhyming pattern consistent. The flow of your content is a bit erratic and scattered with many jumbled and disconnected perspectives; probably due to the upheaval of raw emotion and the unrelenting pain of your grieving process. Your rhythm and meter are also tainted by the raw and powerful emotions you are experiencing, which is an understandable and universal human experience.
Again, I am so sorry for your loss and honored to hear (and feel) the tragic story of the loss of your dear nephew. May the gift of time remove the raw edge and gut-wrenching agony of this dark chapter in your life.

True homage to a loved one. It is truly tragic to lose someone who is still young. My own niece died when she was only thirty leaving 4 small children behind. You have certainly expressed your grief in a great choice of words.
