Awe, Maria Jose, I had to think a little bit until it dawned on me. It's a pencil , and yes I still use them for all sorts of things. Not least to make notes. Ulla xxx

THAT is the ONE thing with which every poem I ever 'pen' is written.... and it's not a pen!! ;) :) LOL! Although I must confess, I use the mechanical pencils and haven't actually seen the old-fashioned gent pictured here in a very long time (around my house -- at school is a different story!). :) Of course, all of my students are required to do their work in pencil so, I'm not picky about what 'kind' they use.... but for the poems here? Definitely mechanical pencil and usually out on the front porch or on the kitchen counter-top! :) ;) Now, for 'writing' Dribble to Books? This keyboard is the ONLY thing there is! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Hello Maria. I'm pretty sure it's a pencil. The clues had me for a few minutes. The yellow paint helped me with the answer. That is good macro image. Robert

This was great Maria, very well done. I enjoyed the picture you included and all the subtle hints provided. I may be wrong but I suspect that this was written about a pencil. I enjoyed the challenge. Thanks for thinking of this.

Pencils. The photo plays with my poor eyesight but from you description, that's my first guess as most pencils are typically yellow.
