Hey Katharine this is great. You are right, when you're gonna do what you're gonna do it should be done with full conviction.
Thinking can be most tiring. Great entry except you might want to change your category from non-fiction to fiction as it is a fiction contest.

A clever saying. Yes, times change. I'm guilty of falling asleep watching TV once in a while. I don't take long naps like my husband does, however. I enjoyed your saying "all I want for Christmas is a good night's sleep." It reminds me of my father. He had a full-time job and also farmed. When we asked him what he wanted for Father's Day or his birthday, he'd just say, "A little peace and quiet."

You are the crazy writing lady -- it's better than the crazy cat lady so take the compliment for what it is... LOL! LOL! So glad things are going well and you're staying busy... I'm gonna get through 1st quarter exams this week, post grades, and then IGNORE school email for a whole week (Fall Break is next week)....
