A very well-written Rondel grande about the symbols of love that we find in the different colour roses. Each color has a special meaning that lovers should know and not offend their lived one.

Ahhh.... the meaning of flowers! I fear it is a lost 'art' these days... although I do find myself looking up certain ones before I bring some to a friend! ;) :) Old habits die hard, I suppose! ;) This is a lovely offering, June -- with that 'medieval romance' in it that I do wish would catch on again!! ;) :) Yvette

What a clever subject for this well written rondel grande. In the olden days, flowers were used to convey messages. Not so much now, I think. The repeating line fit very well with each stanza and strengthened the lines before it.
