This is well written.
Admittedly I was feeling a little sad about the story line but then the twist of revenge very good.

Love it. As someone who's been cheated on, this is a nice little revenge fantasy. It's wonderful how you setup and payoff the "lovely stew of vegetables". The imagery of that stew struck me instantly; a flash of detail that made it feel real. But when it's revealed to be the catalyst of the climax, it makes the whole piece feel complete. Wonderful. Thank you for sharing.

Love it. As someone who's been cheated on, this is a nice little revenge fantasy. It's wonderful how you setup and payoff the "lovely stew of vegetables". A proverb says: "Shadows are only the part of the light that you cannot see", similarly, the best of the feelings (Love) sometimes has "some shadows" that bring the worst of them. Your poem depicts one of these and the wise use of words describe perfectly the internal feelings that the character has to face.

I guess if you're going to cheat, you should be more careful. Women are very intuitive in most cases in situations such as these. She will let you go for a while perhaps to see if you'll turn from your ways. Then, she'll probably expose you. I like this, how you've developed it and brought it forth. Clever twist and so cleverly written. The story line keeps one reading to the very end. Some of the metering is slightly off, but the rhyming is excellent and compensates for any small hitch in the reading. Such fun to read... ...ec
