I enjoyed this very much. There was a lot that was understated, but it came ringing through clearly, making for a solid story. The only thing that put me off was that the dressing-up should continue to such a high amount. I felt it should have stayed in its place laid out by the initial occurrence - as a rare event for special occasions.

Thanks for your review and interesting comments. The thing about the dressing up occurring so often is because it is so rare for people to be in different characters all the time. It is more usual that dressing up is saved for special occasions, therefore I made this couple dress up all the time, because it was the unique thing that attracted each other - they could feel special all the time to each other, because they both loved dressing up so much.

I don't approve of adultery but I do love a nice funny story, and this was nice and funny. It puts the soul into soulmate... and we'll just have to chalk David up to a false start. I didn't see any spag and I stayed interested all the way through.

Thanks for your review comments. That is good praise, to tell me you stayed interested all through my story. David clearly was not a good husband; Jessica deserved better, so I hope she finds happiness with Jeremy - they're off to a great start so far.

This is an easy-read short fiction piece. You've sprinkled it with humor and some good visuals. It's an enjoyable read {smiles}.

I'd be the attractively painted canal barge, slightly quirky, wanting to go places and have some fun. -- I particularly like this comparison. And the "slightly quirky" adds that something special {smiles}.

Best of luck with the competition {smiles}.

Thanks for your wonderful review. If I find it entertaining myself i hope that others will. When I read it, I always laugh at the bit where Jeremy is being a grizzly bear while singing Hava Nagila.

A very interesting Soul Mate contest! You belonged right there front and center with your wish to have enough excitement to ring your bells and whistle your toes! Your words show just how enthusiastic your game had become. Now that you and Jeremy are together, what became of David and his little sidekick the night of the party?
I truly enjoyed your saucy little story! Great job!

Thanks for your enthusiastic response to my story. I don't think Jessica spent any more time wondering what David and Letitia got up to. Maybe they went home and watched TV for ever and ever after.
Meanwhile, Jessica and Jeremy are having the time of their lives.
