I didn't leave a comment when I voted for this verse but wanted to offer you stars:)
I smiled because, while the verse is so true, my challenge is the multitude of journals I accumulate :0
I love to write down phrases, ideas, images in the hope of future brilliance, only to misplace the notebook and start another one.
The hope continues:)

This meets the contest requirements nicely as you deliver a structurally sound Six Line Poem. The content is all to true as I recommend keeping a diary or journal to many of the cancer patients I work with - it's also a great way to off load negative emotions which can often drag one down.
