I seem to recall a film with a similar story.
I really like the idea of parents endowing their children
with psychological protection. Bulletproof backpacks are a bit too much for me.

Very cute little story about a young boy afraid of the dark. The action is limited by the nature of the flash fiction challenge. You did well for having such a short space. The picture complements your story nicely.
