Well done Sally. I enjoyed reading about your cow named Blue Belle and her insatiable appetite for kale. Excellent work with the rhyming and the general lyricalness of this piece made it a very entertaining poem to read. Great job with this.

Sally, I enjoyed this limerick. It is a sad thing when the animals eat our prized plant life. Many blessing for your day.

Well, I have this happen to me daily as I live on a lakefront conservation area. The raccoons eat every one of my pineapples and bananas! I really don?t mind it is their God-given instincts that drives them. Thank you for the excellent and insightful review.

Ha ha! Blue Belle wasn't going to take her chances on missing out on that kale! You have to give her credit for intelligence. I have a dog who thinks just like her. A cute limerick!

This is a cute limerick, which is one of my favorite forms. The rhyme is not perfect, but the meter is good. I especially liked the resolution in the last two lines. Keep writing.

How cute this is, Sal. Good one. I haven't seen a good limerick on here in ages. Your cow is a nifty looking one too. Good presentation top to bottom, my friend.

Thank you, dear Sara. I appreciate the excellent review and kind inquiry. I am doing a little better, but as my shingles heal, they itch! My God and husband are taking good care of me. :+)

I?m finishing my short story series, ?What The Blind Girl Saw? and hope to publish when it?s completed in late fall.

Cute cow limerick, with a pleasant half-rhyme of "Belle" and dale/kale. I guess no one wants to call a cow Blue Gail. It sounds like Blue Belle has a craving for kale, and perhaps it was even the judge's prize-winning entry. Sounds like cows can wander but not eat someone's best crop. Nice job on rhythm!
