Honestly, I often feel that the dress-code could be relaxed but most people still disagree. Ouch, that sounds painful. I loved reading this story, quite an interesting view of the given writing prompt.

This is quite good. You took the sentence and ran with it, no pun intended with the story lol. But yes you took the monotonous life of a housekeeper and added a personality to it. Then to reveal a new mom, etc. Very nice tough. Well done and good luck in the contest! You have my vote! :)

Wow, that's really unfortunate. I guess I haven't frequented enough four star hotels to notice the housekeepers dressed like that. I must be a bit out of the loop. This was fun, well crafted, presented, and well written. Nice job and well done!

Hello, I found minor errors below.
They had obviously read the same article as Virginia, which claimed that ten percent of women who habitually wear high-heeled shoes suffer from undetected fractured toe. delete (bones.)
In contrast, the rest of the team were trainer-orientated, even if these did look more than slightly ridiculous topped by smart black dresses or business suits. (subject is missing)
However, apart from footwear, the management didn't agree. (sentence frag)
It looked as though something more major than toe bones were fractured now.

A fluid read. Feeling the pain of those shoes ouch.
I am very tall and will wear heels but never for work. Maybe the heels prevented her from getting the great workout.

Yep, I remember those days of working on those 3 and 4 inch heels... always carried a pair of 'ballet slippers' in my purse for climbing on the large machinery and simulation equipment -- don't think I would have tried 12 km a day, though! ;) :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck a the polls... ;)
