In one way or another this sort of thing happens with most species. There comes a point where the younger generation need to flex the muscles of their own independence. The still love you but...
A couple of items needing attention here:
'They don't take my advise' -- This should be 'advice' as it is a noun, adise is the verb form.
'(thou) though they act the children'

It is a sad fact of life that the younger generation equates aging with diminished brain capacity. They forget how much the elderly have to offer as they have experienced and survived much more than can possibly be imagined - valuable knowledge to draw from. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.
