I am currently coping with a pair of ten week old pups so this resonated with me -- not that I consider myself in any shape, way or form the equivalent of Jesus Christ, whatever the pups might think.

I think this short verse has a sweet message.
Loyal pups are indeed pure, as are children.
This is a lovely entry for the contest, good luck to you.

The wonder of how all animals and humans were created is included in your short verse.

IMHO ... 'Gifts' does not need to be capitalized, but your intended meaning may differ from my interpretation.

Like your link between 'pure' and 'snow.' Your accompanying artwork is a good match for your writing prompt entry.

Two questions occurred to me when viewing your poem. Don't you agree that what you wrote is true, concerning all of God's creatures? And, how in the world did the photographer get Jesus to pose holding that puppy?

Dear Mystery Poet,

Wow. I've never seen an image like that before. I know dogs are supposed to be man's best friend, but --

Whoa!

Hahaha

Fun stuff!!

Thanks for the smile. Good luck!

We have a great Creator indeed! And there is something special about dogs, that seem to be well known for their attribute of being loyal. Good syllable count and message.

This just flooded my heart. I just recently got a 2 month old pup. It's been 40 years and I'd forgotten how precious and nerve racking they can be. Just like a baby. This is a heartfelt reminder of their innocence. and they love their masters that love them, no matter what mood their masters are in

Very well put, a puppy's fur is like snow. I never thought of it that way. They are defiantly God's little wonderful creations. The art fits the poem beautiful as well.
